Interviewing Someone for The Very First Time!

I had my very first podcasting experience yesterday!!

Over the years, many friends have suggested to me that I start podcasting. Perhaps, as a show of pity for my interest in the useless enterprise of philosophy with which little can be done.

I am not someone drawn to seeking attention and validity from others. As such, glamour and popularity frightens me.

The idea of podcasting has been lurking around for a while. I was waiting to finish setting up all the infrastructure for this blog. Now that that is out of the way, I am in a great position to try podcasting.

As such, I will focus on bringing out the philosophical determinations of the people I interview. I am not yet sure what that would look like. But I do not want to be aggressive or pushy with my guests.

I want to emulate some qualities of Rajat Sharma, host of India’s longest-running television show (30 years!). In his show, every guest gets an opportunity to express themselves even though “charges” are put against them based on what they have done in their career. No pressure is put to say certain things or express the host’s views.
